Kenya Marinyn GFBOP

Type: black (red) tea; indian style
Origin: Kenya
Price range: cheap
Bought from: Tearoom by the Bridge of MiloÅ¡ Sýkora (CZ)

First infusion

Temperature: 100°C
Time: 4 minutes
Amount: 5 g
Smell: exotic wood
Taste: adstringent, sharp, watery, herbal, soapy.
Aftertaste: assertive, nutty, long, intensive, choking, ethanolic and sweet.

This is my first taste of african tea from Kenya. It is relatively regular black tea, however I find that aftertaste here is a lot of stronger than the taste itself. The tail is full of many interesting flavors, a peacock of the teas. It is not the strongest black tea of the world, but it is interesting alternative to those who are bored of classic teas from India.

Quality of the drink: 65%
